Two Ton Press is a small, independent website. This page explains what information is collected when you visit the site, how it’s used, how long it’s kept and what choices you have.

Information You Actively Provide

If you use the Contact page, you may choose to send:

your message

This information is used only to respond to you. It is not shared, sold or added to any mailing list.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, the hosting provider automatically collects basic technical information, including:

IP address
browser type
device type
pages visited
date and time of access

This information is stored in standard server logs for security and troubleshooting. It is deleted automatically on a rolling basis by the hosting provider.

Cookies & Tracking

Two Ton Press does not use:

advertising trackers
analytics trackers
social media pixels
third‑party marketing cookies

The site may use minimal, functional cookies required by WordPress to operate correctly. These do not track you across other sites.

Embedded Content

Some pages may include embedded media (such as YouTube videos or social posts). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other site directly and those services may collect data according to their own policies.

How Your Information Is Used

Information is used only for:

responding to messages you send
maintaining site security
improving site performance
preventing spam or abuse

No information is sold or shared with advertisers.

Data Retention

Contact Messages

Messages sent through the Contact page are kept only as long as needed to respond. After that, they may be deleted at any time.

Spam & Abuse

Spam, abusive messages, threats and irrelevant submissions are deleted immediately. They are not retained, archived or retrievable.

Deleted Data

Once information is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If a request is made for data that no longer exists, the response will simply be:

“We no longer have that information.”

This is normal and compliant.

Requests for Your Information

You may request:

a copy of any personal information you’ve sent
correction of inaccurate information
deletion of your contact messages

Requests must be verifiable. Two Ton Press may decline requests that are:

fraudulent
abusive
impossible to verify
requesting information that no longer exists

This protects both you and the site.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
